V for Vendetta

V for Vendetta was written by Alan Moore and illustrated mostly by David Lloyd, set in a dystopian future United Kingdom. A mysterious anarchist named "V" works to destroy the authoritarian government, profoundly affecting the people whom he encounters.

The series is set in a near-future Britain after a limited nuclear war, which has left much of the world destroyed. In this future, an extreme fascist party called Norsefire has arisen. "V", an anarchist revolutionary dressed in a Guy Fawkes mask, begins an elaborate, violent, and theatrical campaign to bring down the government.

There is an emphasis on technology, especially closed-circuit television monitoring in the mode of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four. The series was filmed into the 2005 movie of the same name by the Wachowski brothers (Matrix trilogy Fame)

The first .cbr doesn't seem to work.. for some reason it only opens in firefox and then it only shows a load of gibberish. It can't be opened in Comic Reader either.

With WinRAR, ou 7-Zip (www.7-zip.org), you can extract the .jpg pictures of the pages of each comic book.

For those of you with problems, first off, the file defaults to title.cbr.html

make sure you do not have extensions hidden and rename it just to .cbr if you intend to use one of the progs to read comic book format.

otherwise, rename it to .rar and extract the files, then view them with your prefered image viewer.
