In the last 15 days alone over 1000 links at least 20GB, Complete Detective Comics, Classics Illustrated, X-Files, X-Factor v1 etc have been deleted.
A lot of work over several days went into putting up all these links... I'm loosing interest in uploading further stuff. I need some time, but I'll try to get all the links back on ASAP.
Hi, I was very surprised when I saw that all files had been deleted, detective comics were my favorite. I´m from Argentina and finding out those comics is impossible here... I hope this situation can solve asap. Regards!
rar and password protect the files before uploading. Also name the rar files appropriately so that no hint is given about the content inside. If possible give an alternate link as well from a uploading site like megashare which usually does not delete your links :)
I'm not that big a fan of rapidshare actually... do you think you could roll all the files of each title in to one or a few large zip files and post them on something like filelodge.com
I live that you use rapidshare... but I don't know how how the link protection is going to work with my multi-file downloader. besides that I feel for your frustraion, try using link-protector.com for hiding the links.
Oh, what a bad news, being from Mexico a lot of these comics are nearly impossible to find. Why don't you try another uploaders like 4shared, turboupload or giga-size? (Don't use megaupload, please!)besides, with rapidshare I only can download one comic at a time. I was waiting the final issues fron Civil War. Thanks a lot.
Hi and thanks for all your work, i know how to do this. Protect your links with http://shareprotect.t-w.at/index.php or another of the rapidshare protection sites. Hypno!
Extremely sad news...I can just express my sincere gratitude to you for such a marvelous job you are doing. I wish the problem will be resolved quickly. Good luck dear...
What you can do is bind all the comics of a series into a single zip or rar file & upload them to a good site like www.upload.vinacis.com. This site allows you to download huge files (as big as 100 MB) using Download Accelerators even.
Look please don't get disheartened so easily. If want to try anything but rapidshare, try for the site www.sharedzilla.com . They provide better support. Also if u still want to stick to rapidshare just try to give the file names whice will make then friendly, like pictures, rar of office works etc. Though thanks for ur undivided dedication to this blog. It cherishes old memories. Thnxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx......
Don't have any suggestions, unfortunately... but I'd just like to say "Thanks" again for allowing us people in the boonies to have access to these comics. Here in the Philippines I can't find Civil War anywhere :( Thanks for all the earlier uploads, and here's hoping the next installment is up shortly :)

I don't know what mechanism they use for scanning and deleting these links. Maybe it would help to use more obscore file names?
There are rapidshare links protection sites out there. I believe it's called rapidsafe. I'll post a link here if I can find a good one.
Yes,
In forums links are added with a "code tag" to protect them from google searches. In private forums links last much longer because of this.

apart from cursing the D*&%ks who did this...hmmm...maybe, you should cod the links so that only registered users get to see it..

live=like... dunno how that typo happened.
don't password protect... somtimes people pass over the password and then you're outta luck... for some reason I can't connect to megaupload...
