Spider-Man: Back in Black

After the stunning ending of Civil War, where, Aunt May is shot by an assassin in The Amazing Spider-Man #538 (March 2007) and is in coma. Spider-Man left in a dark place, paving the way for Spidey to go "Back in Black" and don his old black costume in its wake and to act in a more fierce way, brutally ripping information from his victims.

Examples include true punches, throwing a man out of a window of an apartment, and breaking the assassin's arm. Gathering information from various people, Peter has managed to track down the assassin and threatens to kill him.

And things are only going to get worse for Peter Parker from here.

Spider-Man remains very much a member of the New Avengers, now underground after the surrender of Captain America and provided with secure accommodation by Doctor Strange.

Only Amazing Spider-Man 543 remains in Spiderman: Back in Black, Check back @ www.ComicsDownload.com I'll post it when the comic is published and scanned

52 (Complete)

52 is the title of a comic book limited series published by DC Comics, which debuted on May 10, 2006, one week after the conclusion of the seven-issue Infinite Crisis. The series is written by Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, and Mark Waid with layouts by Keith Giffen.

52 consists of 52 issues, published weekly for one year, chronicling events that took place during the missing year after the end of Infinite Crisis. Once the Crisis was completed, DC used the One Year Later event to move the narratives of most of its DC Universe series forward by one year. The weekly series 52 began publication in May 2006, and depicts some of the events which occurred between Infinite Crisis and One Year Later. The series covers much of the DC Universe, and several characters, whose disparate stories interconnect.

JLA - Legends

Legends was a six issue comic book limited series published in 1986 by DC Comics, which had plot threads running through several other DC comic titles, crossing over into them.
The six issues of the Legends series could be read as an abbreviated story by themselves, or you could read all 22 chapters as a longer story that included the Legends issues as well as issues from other titles including Batman, Superman, and Secret Origins.

Batman - Legacy

Batman: Legacy is a story arc in the Batman comic book series, which is a sequel to another Batman story arc, Batman: Contagion and also serves as a follow-up to Batman: Knightfall story arc. It concerns the returning outbreak of a lethal disease in Gotham City, and Batman's attempts to combat it with his closest allies by discovering its origin on the Middle East. There, Batman faces two of his deadliest foes: Ra's Al Ghul, who created the virus centuries ago, and Bane, the man who crippled him. The Gotham Knights travelled throughout the world as they race to stop The League of Assasins from releasing the pure strain of the virus across the globe, and Gotham itself would be a place of rematch between the Dark Knight and Bane. The events of this lead into Batman: Cataclysm (though there was a gap of over a year between the two story arcs), which itself leads into No Man's Land. More immediately, it celebrated the 700th issue of Detective Comics.

Batman - Knightfall EVent

Batman: Knightfall is the title given to a major Batman story arc published by DC Comics in 1993. It is also the umbrella title to the trilogy of storylines that ran from 1993 to 1994. They consisted of "Knightfall", "Knightquest", and "KnightsEnd".

Bane, introduced in Batman: Vengeance of Bane, began a series of encounters letting Batman know of his presence and his intentions. This culminates in an assault on Arkham Asylum where Bane broke the inmates free, planning to weaken Batman by forcing him to deal with his deadliest villains at one time. Batman faces every villain in Gotham, from the small-time ones like the Mad Hatter to the Joker and Scarecrow, refusing assistance at every step of the way and becoming weaker and weaker in the process. Bane finally makes his move, presenting himself in Wayne Manor to an exhausted Batman (his Venom-enhanced logic deduced that Batman could be no one except for Bruce Wayne) Bane overcomes Batman easily and breaks his back so that Batman must live with the pain of losing. With Batman out of the way, Bane assumes control of Gotham City's underworld....

World War Hulk (Promo)

World War Hulk is a crossover event, by Marvel Comics scheduled to begin in May 2007. It was announced by Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada in 2006 that the Hulk will be the focus of the event. The main events of this story will unfold within the five-issue World War Hulk miniseries by Greg Pak and John Romita Jr. The events in the ongoing PLANET HULK Storyline of The Incredible Hulk series will set up certain elements of World War Hulk.

The story revolves around the Hulk's return to Earth following his exile at the hands of The Illuminati. They have chased the Hulk all over the world. They refused to let him live in peace. They have tried to destroy him at every turn. The puny humans. Now those he once called friends have betrayed him, sending him out to the farthest reaches of space in an attempt to exile him. Mr. Fantastic. Iron Man. Black Bolt. Dr. Strange. And the rest of the puny humans. Hulk is stronger than them. Hulk is stronger than everyone. And he's going to get his revenge. He's never going to stop making them pay. There will be a war. World War Hulk.

Within the midst of Civil War, Reed Richards learned from a brief conversation with Mastermind Excello that the Hulk isn't on the planet where the Illuminati sent him. After a conversation over the good the Hulk has done for humanity, Reed tells Iron Man of what happened to the Hulk and also states that the Hulk has friends and "may God help us if they find him before we do."

The recently revealed Marvel Summer Solicitations depict Hulk attacking the Inhuman moon capital as his first act of vengeance against the Illuminati. He withstands one of Black Bolt's whispers, which is enough to level buildings. The cover for World War Hulk: X-Men #1 shows Hulk holding a struggling Professor X by his neck, and the cover for Iron Man #19 shows a robotic version of the Iron Man armor being smashed into bits by one of Hulk's uppercuts. This is the dated, "classic" version of the armor. No details have been given on if Hulk will get a chance to fight Mr. Fantastic, Namor and Dr. Strange, however within the pages of the Incredible Hulk ties ins, it turns out that Namor may aid the Hulk in his war. Preview images from IGN show both Iron Man and Black Bolt crossed out under the name "Hulk checklist", with the slogan "Who's next?"

The Hulk's special brand of smashing begins this May in INCREDIBLE HULK #106, by Pak and popular Hulk artist Gary Frank, and WORLD WAR HULK PROLOGUE: WORLD BREAKER, by writer Peter David (no stranger to the Hulk!) and a cornucopia of amazing artists. Then the real fun begins. June unleashes the core miniseries, WORLD WAR HULK, on an unsuspecting world, and then the first three of four very special companion series will fall into position, ready to strike.

WORLD WAR HULK: X-MEN finds the Marvel's Merry Mutants going toe-to-toe with the Green Goliath, bringing their unique abilities to bear on the problem of a Rampaging Hulk.

WORLD WAR HULK: FRONTLINE will tell the personal tales of the men and women on the perimeter of the struggle, in the same spirit as CIVIL WAR: FRONT LINE. Is it any wonder that Marvel has roped Front Line expert Paul Jenkins into penning the title, aided and abetted by his old foxhole buddy, artist Ramon Bachs?

WORLD WAR HULK: GAMMA CORPS, written by emerald-hued Frank Tieri and illustrated by verdantly pastoral Carlos Ferreira "is about a genetically altered strike force, whose lives have been affected by the Hulk," enthuses Panaccia. "With the events of WORLD WAR HULK, they finally get a chance to give Hulk their own special helping of payback."

Come July, the worldwide battle continues in not only the aforementioned books, but also in WORLD WAR HULK: YOUNG AVENGERS. Confidential information on the tie-in has not yet been declassified, but suffice to say that a certain creative team by the name of Jeph Loeb and David Finch will be putting the already-famous Young Avengers through their paces…and then some!

And the crushing, stomping, and body-slamming doesn't stop there. WORLD WAR HULK's effects will be felt throughout many of the Marvel Universe's ongoing titles, namely INVINCIBLE IRON MAN, GHOST RIDER, HEROES FOR HIRE, AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE, and IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN.

The Hulk editor smiles knowingly. "This is going to be one of the greatest Marvel events ever and you're going to see some of the greatest superhero battles in the past couple of decades!"

Hulk has been exiled, imprisoned, empowered and crowned. Now, he's coming back to Earth and no one is safe.

Planet Hulk (Promo)

In the 2006 storyline PLANET HULK, after the Hulk destroys much of Las Vegas, a secret group of superheroes called the Illuminati trap the Hulk and rocket him into space to live a peaceful existence on a planet uninhabited by intelligent life.

After a trajectory malfunction, the Hulk travels through a wormhole and crashes on the violent planet Sakaar. Weakened by his journey through the wormhole, the Hulk is sold as a slave. In a gladiatorial arena, he makes a deadly enemy when he scars the emperor's face. The Hulk overcomes great odds to become a gladiator, a rebel leader and eventually a king. Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada announced in 2006 that beginning with May 2007 comics, the Hulk will be the focus of the Marvel crossover event WORLD WAR HULK.

Secret Wars II

Secret Wars II is a nine-issue comic book limited series and crossover published by Marvel Comics from 1985 to 1986. The series was a sequel to 1984's Secret Wars, though unlike its predecessor it occurred on Earth and took place simultaneously in other Marvel comic books, enabling tie-in crossover stories within multiple issues of various titles.

The broad plot of the series involves an enigmatic, all-powerful, god-like creature called the Beyonder who comes to Earth in search of enlightenment and then inevitably comes into conflict with the planets' superhumans.

Intrigued by what he has witnessed during the first Secret Wars, the Beyonder comes to Earth to walk among humans and study them and learn of human desire firsthand. He creates a human body for himself; originally this body resembles an amalgam of parts of various superbeings. Throughout the course of the series, the demon Mephisto seeks to steal his powers or to destroy him to win the favor of Death. The Beyonder ultimately dies when he tried to create for himself a mortal human body that could retain his omnipotence; although he was on the verge of succeeding, he is killed in the process by the Molecule Man. The Beyonder's near-limitless power is returned to the now-empty "Beyond-Realm", where it forms a Big Bang and created a new universe.
